How is ECO Therapy different than other CBD oil products I have seen?

Just like you, we believe in feeling connected to the planet and seek to infuse products with high quality, natural ingredients in our lives. ECO Therapy is whole-plant hemp CBD oil made from hemp grown under strict specifications here in the United States. Because it is not imported like other CBD oils, we are able to ensure that our hemp is grown in a clean-room environment by experienced growers committed to responsible cultivation. Unlike other imported products, ECO Therapy uses the entirety of the hemp plant to produce more concentrated, potent CBD oil, which creates a better experience for you. ECO Therapy is not diluted or mixed with any non-hemp oils to keep it as true as can be. Each batch of our oil is tested by a third-party lab prior to bottling, to ensure consistent quality every time to deliver a product you can trust.

SCIENCE

What is the difference between CBD and THC?

CBD and THC are both cannabinoids present in the cannabis plant. However, their roles are very different. CBD is non-psychoactive and is responsible for the analgesic, anti-inflammatory, and anti-anxiety properties present in cannabis.   Alternatively, THC is the cannabinoid in cannabis that creates the feeling of intoxication (or “high”).

What is CBD?

CBD is a cannabis compound that has significant medical benefits but without the psychoactive effect of THC. Sounds pretty great, right? We think so too! People have found CBD to help with inflammation, pain, anxiety, psychosis, seizures, spasms and other conditions. Explore our products to see how CBD can help you thrive in your everyday

What are terpenes?

Terpenes are a large and diverse class of organic compounds. Terpenes are the primary constituent of essential oils in many types of medicinal plants and flowers. Synthetic and derivations of natural terpenes also greatly expand the variety of aromas used in perfumery and flavors used in food additives. ECO Therapy blends natural terpenes with essential oils to create one of a kind products to help improve your everyday.

What is the Entourage Effect?

The Entourage Effect results when the many components within the cannabis plant interact with the human body to produce a stronger influence than any one of those components alone. It’s a synergistic effect.

What is the difference between industrial hemp and marijuana?

Great question. Both industrial hemp and marijuana are variants of the cannabis plant, but the similarities end there. Industrial hemp is specially cultivated to have high concentrations of cannabidiol (CBD), while maintaining very low levels of THC. Conversely, marijuana is cultivated to have high levels of THC to produce a psychoactive effect. Unlike marijuana, industrial hemp does not produce any psychoactive effects. In fact, CBD is classified as an anti-psychoactive and has been shown to help those suffering from existing psychoactive disorders. CBD is completely safe to use. For many, CBD has become part of their daily ritual to combat lack of sleep, anxiety or pain.

What are cannabinoids?

There are 113 known cannabinoids found in the cannabis plants. A cannabinoid is one of a class of diverse chemical compounds that acts on cannabinoid receptors in cells that alter neurotransmitter release in the brain.
