Hemp Oil vs. CBD Oil

Hemp oil may refer to two different types of oil. It could be hemp oil from plant matter like leaves or stalks. or hempseed oil, which is pressed from only hemp seeds. Hemp seeds do not contain any CBD or plant cannabinoids, but does have healthy fatty acids, rich nutrients, and beneficial bioactive ingredients. Hempseed oil may also be listed as as cannabis sativa seed oil.

In contrast, CBD oil is extracted specifically from the CBD-rich flowers and plant parts of hemp. CBD oil has a high concentration of CBD, whereas hemp oil does not. This is why hemp oil is typically much lower in price than CBD oil.
